I don't think I intentionally checked the genre out, I've been a fan for a while so I've forgotten how it all began, but Loveless and Zetsuai were pretty much my firsts and I found the concept quite erotic at the time.

I think I've become very biased toward gay relatioinships, and consider it the ultimate form of "true love" as procreation of the spieces is impossible, as oppose to attractivness of the opposite sex purely being something controlled by hormones and the desire to continue the race, ah it's all very romantic in my head.

Ai no Kusabi is my favourite anime from this genre although I don't think there's that much anime on this though. As for manga Zetsuai/Bronze is still my favourite after all these years, I don't think it's for everyone of course, it's really a very dramatic manga but I think that's what I love about it.

Hmm ... many things ^^ The gorgeous art, the nice plot, and i think the love shown in mangas/animes between two boys is just beautiful <3
Now i like it even more than girl x boy love in anime/mangas ^^

Hmm, i read somewhere in a forum about yaoi, that made me curious. So i started looking for yaoi, and liked it.

My fav yaoi mangas are definitley the Viewfinder Series and Crimson Spell Series. The art is gorgeous, the story is something i've never read before and awhhh ... i can just say good things about it ^^
My fav yaoi anime is Junjou Romantica 1 & 2. I like the story, it's cute <3

Pure coincidence! I was searching for new mangas to read, when i stumble upon "buddy system". I was shocked, in a good way though.

Hm, i much prefer reading it for some reason. I wathed a couple of anime, but only those that I knew would be good! junjou romantica though will be my favourite... i can watch that again and again, its such a sweet story.
My favourite mangas would be Kimi ga Koi ni Ochiru and Bokuyou na silent by Takanaga Hinako, and of course... viewfinder series by Yamane Ayano!! Not to mention Yamato Nases later works. They are sooo beautifully drawn! I love mr. convenience!

Seriously I don't know why I like Yaoi,maybe because it's boys' love,and boys look cute together when they're gentle...
I've watched Loveless and others I don't remember the names.I did like Loveless but I'm not a Shota-con fan.
I've also watched Kirepapa and it was really "naughty" but I loved it.
As for manga,mostly doujinshi,but not many.I happened to read a Light x L doujinshi once but didn't like it,especially the art was very childlike.

so i was introduced to yaoi by youtube. one night i was watching anime a junjo romantica pop up and i was curious when i watched it i wasnt really shocked but more like 'wow this is really sweet in a weird kind of way!' lol

my first yaoi anime was junjo romantica then the same night papa to kiss in the dark

my all time favorite is junjo romantica! second is loveless and third is well idrk! lol and wayyyyyyyyy too many more
