1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?
- Well, after got persuaded by my sister to buy the Gravitation DVD... I somehow wanted to read the manga. Then, I got really hooked with it. At first, I filled my curiosity of the genre by reading doujishi... i.e , hikaru o Go (HikaruxAkira) Gundam Seed , Death Note (KiraxL), Naruto (Sasunaru)
Then... I read one of Minami Haruka's work... It was really smut.. but I kinda like the characters art, so I search for other mangas with different mangaka... and I ended up like this! lol...

I'm not even sure, but that's an important question because I feel like the only person on this earth with a Y chromosome that likes it.

After reading Angel Sanctuary, I went to look for more about this mangaka and found Boys next door, which became my first yaoi.

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?

It was the first time for me when I saw a love between two guys. Earlier I didn't even think about homosexuals.

2)How was yaoi first introduced to you?

At first I was really scarred. I didn't expect sth like that in manga. A couple days later I strted to read but I still was ignoring sex scenes. ^^" But, well... some time passed and I loved yaoi. And without at least one sex scene manga is useless for me (but no, I'm not pervert).

* Fake - I like only this yaoi of that mangaka but it also one of the best yaoi I've ever read.

LOL.. my friend who i got to know in my first year of Poly lent me her Gravitation books.. And it pretty good.. quite a refreshing change from the usual shoujo manga. but ti didn't satisfy my curiosity. im ean no offense but it didn't show how they.. you know.. did it.. then another friend whom i met in my second year into-ed me to a LJ community. and thw doors to yaoi opened for me then. ^^;

Ah.. so difficult to list out.
Anime.. for storyline I'd definitely root for ai no kusabi! the ending made me cry.. T_T

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?

I was very frustrated with a couple of girls in anime and manga becaus they are sooo stupit before I liked yaoi I liked hentai like work by mayu shinjo but the girls in her manga they were so stupid I could no longer stand it but the boys were so awesome so I thought what would it be like if there is a relationship between gin and nagisa in the manga Love Celeb (vol.03 ch.013 page.32) and I was just like YEAHHH~.

2)How was yaoi first introduced to you?

I bought by mistake Challengers 4 by hinako takanaga I thought it was a girl on the cover xD but when I had read it, I found it funny and cute so I wanted to learn more about BoyxBoy and stuff like that.

---- The artwork of this certain anime caught my interest. at first, i didnt know it was boy's love or what it was called. but after i've watched the anime, funny, i didnt find it disgusting. i searched the net for other similar plots and that was when i learned that it was called yaoi.

---- I bought a dvd copy of Gakuen Heaven. I thought it was some shoujo / shounen anime. It wasnt bad, after all.

---- I dont have favourites in particular. I like `em all. But Totally Captivated manwah is really interesting. Animes, Junjou Romantica is really cool.

my first manga was shoujo manga, but real yaoi manga was doujinshi HikaGo
