1. the fact that I was bored to shoujo and thought that a love story between two men woul give some new aspects to relationships.

2. my friend loaned me a cd full of yaoi. :D and the best yaoi book ever (for me) desire! <3 I never felt any disgust for this stuff, even in the beginning.

3. there are way too many favourites... love mode, yatteraneeze, antique bakery, only the ring finger knows, seinen 14 sai, color, beware of the rival, Hoshigarimasen Katsumade wa, I want to become your bird, little butterfly, eerie queerie, kaze no yukue... can't pick one! of course, these are all mangas, I don't really watch anime...

I'm a little bit too crazy about yaoi. my no-manga-reading friends can't stand me when I start going on and on about yaoi.^^'

I don't watch a lot of yaoi but one of my favorite yaoi classics from the 1980s was called, "Song of the Wind and Trees," or otherwise known "Kaze to Ki no Uta."

It's coincident, I borrowed some of manga from my friend and she gave me wrong.
That manga is NewYork NewYork and it's the most favorite manga for me.

I never watch yaoi anime, I only read manga then I have only favourite manga and
I have a lot, haha, first is NewYork NewYork, Yamada Yugi's work, Naono Borha's work.

1.I just love men, especially pretty boys. And the love (sex) is more intense (as someone mentioned before). Plus, I think I might have some desire to be dominated.

2. Loveless anime was the first experience I had with BL, and I fell in love with Soubi at first sight. So that made me curious and craving for more pretty boyXboy action!

3. Apart from Loveless and Gakuen Heaven I haven't watched any anime, but almost all manga I read is yaoi. Of course Murakami-sensei's Gravitation Megamixes are FTW, but there is so much yaoi manga worth reading out there.

now, i read all types of BL series publish by DMP, cause i dont really noe where to get the scans XD

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first? It was something forbidden. The excitment of going on the internet and trying to find yaoi material and hoping to not get caught.

2)How was yaoi first introduced to you? :41: I have no idea.... I've been watching lighter BL since my hormones kicked in. It might have been a friend in middle school though.

I was searching for my favorite anime artworks. But i found mostly yaoi scenes. I remember too well. Absolutely it didn't bother me. But i didn't like either. Then someday i became a fangirl

My favorite mangas are Viewfinder, Crimson Spell, Kusatta, Koori no mamono no monogatari, Koori no mamono no monogatari Gaiden, Jadou, Jadou Tenmou Yatan, Loveless.

My favorite animes are ai no kusabi and sensitive pornograph .

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?

Honestly? I don't quite remember. *sheepish* It most likely had something to do with the fact that I was very frustrated with a number of the girls in the anime and manga I was watching/reading at the time and that, typically, the MCs just had better chemistry with their (male) friends and enemies in my eyes, but I can't be certain.

2)How was yaoi first introduced to you?

I've been a slasher since I was about four or so and I fell in love with anime not long after, so a combination of two was sort of inevitable. I think I just found a copy of an old shonen-ai in one of my comic shops one day and threw a fit because the subtext I picked up on was -right- for once and it escalated from there. *g*

3)And most importantly, your favourite yaoi mangas and anime.

Hmm, there are many, but my all-time favourite manga for some reason is Saa Koi ni Ochitamae. On top of being hilarious, with a poke-worthy uke and adorable little brothers, it's rather hot.
