1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?

i don't know i just love to read it.

i picked loveless off the shelf of a library and got intransed by it.

my favorite is loveless but thats because i don't know any others.

I wasn’t particularly intrigued, it was more like: “WOW, that’s hot!”

Through fanfiction, after a while I discovered there is whole genre called yaoi.

That’s tough because there are so many I like: Loveless (this is more like shonen-ai), Haru wo Daiteita & Fuyu no Semi both manga and anime. And of course Junjou Romantica.

At first I like shoujo manga, and when I went to abroad, I searched for read manga online..
and I found the genre shounen ai and yaoi, so I read it and became addicted until now... ^^!

I have many favourite manga, if anime, I have many favourite too
Actually it depends the drawing art, the story and many bishounen in that story....

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?
..well its hard to tell..when I saw i at first I actually thught thats kinda gross and couldn't even look at it..maybe because I bumped into it totally by accident and didn't know that what I was reading was yaoi..so it was quite a shock^^..but then..when I was reading more and more I started finding sth in it whats actually fascinates me (I mean in realations between two guys..totaly different from what you can see in shojo mangas f.e.) well I guess it kinda mesmerized me completely ..and don't know even when I couldn't stop reading^^

..like I said before it was totally by accident..when I was searching for some cute shojo but smuty manga I saw some really cute and open it(btw. it was Viefinder by Yamane Ayano)..started reading..and that was when I realized that was actually yaoi kind of manga..quite shocking for someone who didn't even concider reading those kind of stuffs..but luckily it happend to me then^^

3)And most importantly, your favourite yaoi mangas and anime.
..my favourites are works of Yamane Ayano(Viefinder, Crimson spell), Umezawa Hana(Ai to Yokubou wa Gakuen de), Minase Masara(like Gokujou no Koibito, Shortcut love, Missing Code and so on), Sakuraga Mei(Kirai Ya nai kedo), Sakuragi Yaya(Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi),Kawai Touko(Cut, Bondx, Loveholic), Honjou Rie(Ai no kotoba mo shiranaide), Chitoze Piyoko, Fuwa Shinri and many more.. I also love motives with vampire and supernatural powers in yaoi mangas like in Koyoi wa kimi to chi no kiss wo or Wild fangs, Wild rose and such..
..if it comes to anime..well my favourites are Loveless, Gravitation, Junjou Romantica, Kirepapa, Sukisho, Ai no kusabi, Okane ga nai..it's sad they are mostly so short..^^

I prefer read love Story's Yaoi, because i dont like very much the Yaoi Harcore, so i prefer yaoi with beauthiful story's and caracther, of course xD

1) What intrigued you about the genre at first?
It was pretty unusual, and at some point, the love between two guys in anime and manga seem to be more intense and unique than boy/girl relationships.

A feisty classmate from 5th grade printed a yaoi fic of Weiss Kreuz and made me read it. After that, I was HOOKED.

My fave animes are Junjou Romantica, Kire Papa (in all its silliness), Ai no Kusabi, Gravitation!

What intrigued you about the genre at first?
The fact that it was forbidden. My folks didnt let my see anime/manga in general and the fact that they are hardcore christians just made me wanna see yaoi.

How was yaoi first introduced to you.
I dont even remember. I think I read a fanfic about my favorite game and the couple actually made sense to me! And my friend had a backpack with the most beautiful drawing of yuki and shuichi from gravitation.

1)What intrigued you about the genre at first?
Huum... I guess it's the intense feelings that gets to you. It's much more intense than boy/girl-manga, which sometimes happens to be a bit .. dead xD
It's refreshing and the art is often very, very beautiful and you can find some of the most amazing and bittersweet stories (:
And I happen to already be in the "invorenment", before I started reading (homo-, bi-, pansexual and so on), so it was easy to be intrigued by it ^^

Fanfictions! xD I read my first BoyxBoy by that and later it just became natural to read it too, as a manga (: it's very different from watching the art and pictures and reading stories about it, but I like it both ways :D
