Stuck on a couple games...any help for a damsel in distress?

Okay so I am stuck on Persona 3 FES fighting the hanged man, on FFX-2 fighting the dragon at in the runes (really early in the game I am a total tard cart I know) and on Silent Hill 2 when you have to run from PH down that funny curved hallway? James runs so fscking SLOW!! any ideas how to speed him up a little and not get him stuck in so many corners???

btw I am playing on Hard mode

FFX-2 is so easy all you have to do is grind a few lvls and the game is a cake walk.
When you get to the Mi'ihen highroad stay at the entrance and lvl until 25-30, be sure to change dress spheres when the skills are max.

Gah! So jealous!!! I can't find Persona 3 anywhere!!! I was lucky to get Persona 3 FES and it cost me a good chunk out of my pocket
