The latest Turok sucked

Did anyone else think that? I was all excited about killing some dinosaurs and this game turned out to be the most boring piece of crap I've ever played.

The gameplay...it's like we're in the 90s all over again. No handy melee function for firearms, the knife is ridiculously useless save for stealth kills, NO adrenaline key for sprinting, no nothing!

How can they fuck up so bad?

lmao. Awwww.... I personally loved the Turok games, especially the second one. When this new one arrived I think I nearly shi* my pants, until I got a wiff of game reviews and footage. I lost my mind. DAM* IT! NOOOOOO!!!

Maybe we'll be lucky enough to see a fifth game that'll blow everyone's minds...

the formula seems so simple. slaying dinosaurs with mean weapons. how could they possibly make it so crappy -_-

XD I played the demo and I don't know if its enough to judge but from what I did play it sucked ass badly

Frankly, I think if I had some directive powers over this game, it would have been better.

First of all, wtf? A partner? Thriller games are MADE to be solo'd, these devs are idiots. Second of all, more dinosaurs, less people. The formula is simple. Finally, make dinosaurs MORE dangerous than people.

And for the love of god, give the player some degree of mobility and/or the ability to melee enemies. I'm in the jungle, armed to the teeth with knives and bows and my character is a muscled native american. let me sink my knife into hostile guts with ease ffs.

You ever play those Jurassic Park games for like super nintendo and sega? One inpaticular I think fits what your talking about. It was for the SN and I think was about just going to exterminate the island or w/e. Had jumpin' and shooting... but if you took the elements this game had and threw it into a current gen system game. Ya get a "what should be" Turok game... I completely agree with you on the style of the game. I felt it should have toned down darker and creeper. Making you have to take those dark caves never knowing when those dinosaurs will pop out...
