Hey all. Just bought myself dragon ball burst limit 2 days ago for the PS3 and I cant keep my hands off it the Game is soooooooooooooooooooooo wicked
Well anyway Ill get to the point I played the story mode and because Im a big fan of the Dragon Ball saga I was absolutly blown away when I played it. The Story mode is really the Story of dragon ball. All the cut scenes from the series have been intergrated into the game I mean thats just F***ing awasome!
So what do you guys think of the game PS3 or XBOX360 Version did you expect more or less or are you happy that you finally have a dragon ball game whitch deserves its place right next to the TV???

Have you played the Budokai series? B3 in particular just had the mechanics and modes nailed. Everything in BL has been, how can I say this nicely.. Made extremely easy to pull off? I mean you press 1 button and a direction at most to pull off everything in the entire game. Not to mention some of the new mechanics are just game breaking. Theres no ki management anymore as it regens like lightning on its own. You can interrupt ultimates without ever having to press a single button. They removed cancels and shifts because they actually take timing god forbid. None of the specials feel epic anymore as over half of them are just palette swaped. Then they add in this drama system that serves no purpose other then to break up the flow of a fight. So am I disappointed? Very. Is it as bad as the Tenkai series? Not even close. Just moving in that game was broken to all hell. Still its hard to judge BL as it is the first game from the new series. Maybe it will get better. Who knows?

Hmmm yeah thats a good point with the cinematics in the middle of the fight, but hey im a hardcore fan and i do get a kick out of it^^. Yeah I played budokai series and the third was the only real good one if you ask me, but still compaired to BL i think they did a pretty good job this time. The grafics are so perfect for the game but id expect that from a next gen console. I also like the fact that u can have the original voices and in english that i think is a big bonus. What i think is sad is that I have played through the story mode now and well.... theres not much else to do. Maybe get some more highscores and unlock some stuff but the could of done more.

I didn't know about the original voices option. That would be a nice little feature. About the whole running out of things to do part I really wish they would bring the Red Ribbon Base back! Or anything like it would be great. Climbing the levels beating the varied AI was just brilliant. I have played it on and off since release and I still haven't beaten all the levels with everyone yet.
