lol not surprised at all tho, its more of a eurasian kinda thing i believe...last i heard russians were dominating and asians weren't much good at it. It's really all about teamwork..been playing for years and years...at least 3...if not 4...but only for fun...and only occasionally..started back in the 4.xx maps :P. lol hey vc, which server do u play on?

Back in the Philippines I played it with my friends. I used Lina and Rylai if I'm with the Sentinel. Razor, and Lucifer if I'm with the Scourge.

Ive been playing DotA for over three years now, and ive played with some of the best at that. (not trying to boast, being serious)
When you play high level DotA and then go pubstomping, you tend to pick up a few tricks that are just so retarded to pull off, its funny even to the people your stomping xD
And to all those who say theres no skill involved, im sorry but take a look at the amount of clicking pro-players do and try to compare that with any other game, average apm(actions per minute) for me is 110++

BTW the reason most of you have not heard of it is because it is a custom map for the RTS game Warcraft III.
Buy Warcraft III, go on battle.net and every third game or so is dota. thats how popular it is

I used to play it with my classmates & a couple of friends. My mains used to be lina (for nukage) & phantom lancer, tho I often used spirit braker & butcher for flanking (meat hook=lot's o' fun). It's a great game for LAN-parties. Swithced to WoW tho.

DK IS imba hes prob gonna get nerfed best strat for him is for items r treads santtic assuslt curiass mkb linkins/heart( dont ever get battle fury with dk this is the worst choice u can do in the game people say u can farm better but it doesnt work with ult so its garbage)

I used to DoTa didn't really attract me much and most of the people get really pissed if they have a player that isn't good.

I got the game but dont play it much except for when my cousin comes over. Then we play against each other and I usually get owned like anything.

before I entered college, i got reeeeeaaallly addicted to playing this. But i'm not that good at it, so i am just support. But now in college due to time constraints i can't even play one game of it. *misses the good ol' days* T_T
