Mortal Kombat vs. DC
Ah yes, another grand speculation for all you gamers. It's seem Ed Boon and his team at Midway are in the mists if creating and "epic" video game to start the Mortal Kombat franchise into the Next Generation systems.

when I first heard of this game i was exited but its seems to have died down v_v
then again I never was a fan of 3d fighters(except for soul caliber)

Just to freeze all the DC characters with zub-zero and then kill em. Heck yes! Most series that are just progressing now, from the old gen to the new gen, seem to be stylizing the whole genre of their game differently. Mortal Kombat is one example. Another example is Tomb Raider. Her first move into the next gen games surprised everyone with the big "WOW" in the trailer. I'm sure RE:5 is gonna do the same some how too...

This game made me laugh because they couldn't possibly balance it and leave the characters from DC with anywhere near full power. Superman could destroy the entire cast of MK, from Raiden and Shao Kahn down to Kano, at the same time with no effort. Then you add in Green Lantern, Captain Marvel and the Flash......
The only DC characters on the list of playable characters who would have any trouble at all with the Mortal Kombat chars (by their powersets) are Batman, the Joker, and Deathstroke. And they try to explain it as "magic." Should be a fun game, at any rate. |

Apparently there is something they're going to explain in the story that is applied to everyones "powers & abilities", initially lowering the effectiveness by god-like characters such as superman.
Atleast...something like that >.>

I'm a big fan of the Mortal Kombat series. The initial idea behind the gore and fatalities just gets to me. Plus the story line is actually not to bad.......
I'm just curious how they're going to feed the fans of the gore with a teen rated game?
