Can Sonic make a comeback?

off-topic: super mario 2 was japan doki doki panic, it's not really a mario game

beside, like mario, sonic already did a shooter(shadow, yoshi safari), party games ( sonic shuffle, mario party) sports (sega superstar, mario tennis) racing games( sonic riders, mario kart ), kids games (sonic schoolhouse, mario teaches typing) and some strange ones like sonic drift (why the hell does he even need a car, HE IS SONIC) so i don't see why an rpg would be that strange

on the other hand, if sonic rpg does make him popular again, it would mean that the original formula is dead

Sonic does have a chance for a comeback but they're going to have to be careful what they do with him

It's going to be weird, having a turn-based sonic game, but Bioware usually know what their doing, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Still, like everyone pointed out, speed is the essence of a sonic game... I'm intrigued

Well the DS doesn't strike me as a console very well suited for voice acting, but I could be wrong.

I like Sonic and I believe that Sonic can become a great RPG title if used correctly.
I like action RPGs, but they are disappointing in some aspects.
Sigh... Nothing is perfect, don't you think?

I'll never trust the Sonic series again. The last good Sonic game was about 15 years ago.

Hobo zombie, while i respect your opinion, 15 year ago was sonic 2 and saying that is stupid, you can hate sonic but you cannot say sonic 3, sonic and knuckles and sonic cd were crap and expect to be right

i dont think it can be hit again i men if it would sega shouldnt have to get out of console bussines im quite fan of sonic my childhood full of sonic but game caracters improved a lot they cant close gap
