Best Game Platform?

If you can have one of these three. PS3,Wii or XBOX 360.
which one would you get? and why

Well to tell you the truth I have a xbox 360 and I'm waiting for my ps3 to arrive soon. Xbox 360 has more good games that ps3 and in the games that are release in both consoles xbox 360 has slightly better performance. Still the best games for ps3 have yet to be released and let's not forget it's capability to play blu ray disks. As for Wii, well it's more casual than the other two and unless you really like the motion sensing controls and Nintendo games (mario, zelda , metroid etc) I wouldn't recommend it.
If I had to choose one of those right now, I would go with the 360 as it has more and better games than the other two, has slightly better performance than PS3 and it's cheap (slightly more expensive than Wii, even though if you buy it without a hard disk it's cheaper than Wii also).

I have the Xbox 360 and the Wii. I would have to go with the Xbox 360 because of Halo 3. Other than that, the Wii is a close second. PS3 sux.

Well, I'm pretty much in your same situation.
The xbox surely rocks right now, but the ps3 cell processor is not probably working at his full power since, like txc was saying, the best games for ps3 are not out already. Besides, it's still very hard to make a backup copy of your blu-ray discs.
So, for the moment, I think that I'll save some money getting a Wii, even because this summer will come out his real killing app, "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" (playing it with a wiimote will be fantastic!) and maybe the next year I'll get a ps3 (if the price will lower a bit and if I'll have enough money) or a xbox (which will be probably improved soon, maybe with a hd-dvd or a blu-ray reader).

Not dissing the 360, but if I had to chose between those three it would have to be the Nintendo Wii cause of SSBB.

He's retiring with his last game being a let down to him, It's horrible.

hmmm well i have all 3 myself but if i didnt i would probably get the ps3 because of the fact that its internet capability is free its a cheap blue ray player and it has some awesome games coming out for it. even though all 3 systems have there own strengths i still like my ps3 alot more than the other 2 but thats because the wii games just dont have enough gore for me and my 360 for some reason has problems with opening its cd tray and i cant send it back for the warrenty and im not going to buy another one lol.
