and yeah i played wow up to lvl 16 and decided to stop... It's a hit or miss with that game. People either really get addicted and love it or they totally hate it. I've never been a fan of WoW and i've never understood what's so good about it. I guess the style of graphics never appealed to me and just the way the game works. ohhh... and for sure too many L33T pricks in that MMO... i'm more of a casual gamer... i don't wanna play a game where I have to dedicate 30 hrs in a day just to reach some decent level and be able to hold up in PvP |

![]() After a few thousand hours of it, I've finally realised that playing MMOs was quite a waste of time. I can't bring myself to go back playing anymore. |

Actually, I've played over 4000 hours, since in the first year that I played WoW, I had an absolutely crappy computer that forced me to turn everything else off while playing WoW.

Re: Anyone getting Tired of MMOs??
I've had an account on WoW since last March, but I've only been able to play for a grand total of 35 days in game. I have a level 70 druid which is fun to play, but I'm not obsessive about it. I just get on every now and then and play for a couple hours and call it a night.
As far as MMOs in general are concerned...I'll just quote my friend: "World of Warcraft is a great way to save money. You end up not playing any other games, you won't go out to frivolously spend money, you don't end up paying for a girlfriend, and once the next MMO comes out, you just drop WoW and subscribe to the new one." Which is sad, because I still have an extensive amount of PS2/PS1/GC/Wii/DS/PSP/NES/SNES/GBA/PC games that I've never beaten. ![]() Not to mention my slowly dying anime addiction, lol. |

.......I used to be hardcore in world of warcraft and I gotta admit that I am just not into MMO's anymore. They seem to lack the substance and storyline that made me get into video games all hardcore....It could be because I'm using things like FF7 as a benchmark for any kind of fantasy-ish game....but I just havent really seen anything all that appealing in the MMO world anymore...........I personally blame Call of Duty 4......but thats just me

Never saw the appeal of MMOs. I think there are better ways to pass the time, without having to subscribe to anything. I do enjoy playing with my friends, but over a LAN connection, it's better, you get to see you friends reactions when they die i a vey painful/humiliating way
