which one should i buy 360 or ps3?

ps3 is more powerful than the pc's on the market. you can install an OS to the ps3. its more like a computer in functionality. online play is free. graphics are higher. games are more exclusive. its bluray cd's enable the games it has to look and be much better than the some of the same for xbox360 so i would choose ps3. but money wise you can buy a 360 with a low harddrive for around 130+ or so . so i would get that. i guess.

As someone who has both I think you just have to decide which appeals more to you because they pretty much have the same games(with a few exclusives here and there), If your going by which system offers more then the ps3 is the more bang for your buck system but if you don't care for blu ray and all that stuff then they're pretty much equal

online they are both basically the same(the only thing that makes Live a little better than the PSN is in game XMB....having to log out/exit a game just to read/send a message is a bitch but thats the only major difference well that and Achievements then again sony is planing to launch Home so that should even that out)other than that the lag is pretty much the same in both system's so don't listen to all the people saying the 360 has better online...they are pretty much equal

put it into prospective, PS3 just doesnt have as well planned online gaming, enough good titles, and who wants to pay that much when the 360 clearly has superior online capability and friggin sweet titles! Thats why you should proudly take you're new 360 to the counter, buy it, then take it home and kick ass online! (Always remember online gameplay is where its at!)

Raver, so what about those titles the PS3 doesnt have enough exclusives. The 360 has such a massive amount of exclusives compared to the PS3!

so where's this massive amount of exclusives?or are you talking about upcoming games of which the ps3 also has a lot too and Like I mentioned almost every game coming out by a 3rd party company in the future is going to be multi platform so there's no point arguing there..


and to your Online comparison Like I said use the PSN before you judge it.........its the same shit....only thing thats missing is in game XMB and that the ps3 has a Browser but live doesn't

Well I have both but I slightly favor the 360. The online game is much better and more stable and lag free. The amount you pay monthly is really low for such a great service. Also even though theoretically the PS3 has more power than the 360 because it is harder to develop on the PS3 (as an attempt to stop hackers) the results show the opposite. Except for a couple of games that take advantage of installing files on its hard drive (making loading times and in gta iv pop ups, less than 360) in all the others the 360 has better performance. Also 360 has more games and even though some of the exclusives are ported to the pc you still need to have a powerful one to run them. Also for now (even though MGS is just around the corner) the PS3 doesn't really have that many titles (Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, GT5 prologue) it still doesn't even come close to the game library of 360.

I semi agree with you on the online bit it is more stable than the PSN there is less crashes(but when it does crash it crashes hard(2 weeks of December ring a bell they even had to give out free crappy arcade games so people wouldn't sue them)but I think you mis-understand on what your paying for your not paying for the service you can get that for free(the silver accounts) your just paying so that microsoft lets you play online....with your own connection....they don't even use dedicated servers they use P2P connections......which means your own connection(think star craft)

go on for hours?The only one your missing from the list is Alan Wake(which looks awesome btw) so what other Exclusives are you talking about?



I don't mean to argue but I Just don't like to see uninformed post like

"ps3 has no games"

topic creator go look at both system's libraries and see for your self..there almost the samel.....with some exclusives here or there.

what I suggest if you have the money get both..so you can enjoy both worlds and not have to worry about "Exclusives"
