Funneh, last time I posted something in this section was about this "remake" rumours, I was hit by the nerd rage and flamed by everyone, someone even got my topic deleted. Also sounded like a real bad idea at that time.

Oh man, I really do hope so, after finishing crisis core and watching the extra scene showing ff7 opening scene in awesome graphics...so tempted to just march in square and demand for a remake

A remake would be nice but I guess I'll just turn to playing the psx on psp, since it doesn't look a remake will happen.

The teaser trailer from them was just a rouse, they won't be remaking FFVIII.

well i'm subscribed to square enix newsletter and in this month mail it said that it was on playstation network for ps3 and psp

If anyone knows business, then they would know that remaking Final Fantasy VII is a great investment.
I have heard that the people involved are currently busy with Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. SquareEnix knows that they can make money from this, so I don't see why they won't remake it. |

I still have my old PS disk of the game, so I can still play it, but I dont like the graphics so I dont play it much. I really hope they remake it so I can see the game with modern graphics, but I kinda doubt they ever will.

about the newsletter - sounds like its talking about the original psx version not a completely overhauled newer rendition...
