There isn't really a best console.
Each has their own pros and cons. The PS3 has powerful hardware, but lacks titles. The 360 is all-around, but Live Gold costs monthly. The Wii has severe harware limitations, but a powerful control-method. DS and PSP are handhelds; technically not consoles. PS2 and Xbox would typically lose to their new counterparts. |

PS3 is a hell of a machine but XBox 360 has better games... for now.

On its own the PS3 is better than the 360 better drivers and so on but the 360 has better games for it for than the PS3 with the exception of MGS4 and LittleBigPlanet so for me the 360 takes the cake but I'm sure that, in time, the PS3 will surpass the 360

i would say 360 only becouse the variety of games and the becouse i think xbox live is better then psn or wii live but in eny other way is the ps3 superior
