Atm PS3 by far... although, i wouldve voted for SNES or PSX if they were on the list, the best games were on PSX ( stuff like FF VII ) but still SNES has alot of nostalgia points to it :D

But yeah PS3 because of its fast OS, good sized stock HD, great games, online capabilities and the fact its fully Linux compatible, pure awesomeness

The GFX difference between PS3 and Xbox 360 are almost unnoticable, as there are only a few minor lighting changes onto PS3 version of the games, and some contrast changes aswell, a good example would be GTA IV, both consoles run exactly the same kind of GFX on that game, only varying with the fact that PS3 version has a little more contrast to it and the game looks a bit more clear on the PS3, but with a good HD television and a good cable, you wouldnt notice anything. In the future though, PS3 WILL BE HAVING better GFX when the game companies realise what they can rip offa PS3, and what they cant pull out from Xbox...

The DS all the way! =D lol, I can't believe only 3 of us have voted for it, too. Kinda sad. Oh well, I guess the DS is in a class all of its own. I can't wait to get my hands on one of the new DSi's. Wireless sync with the Wii is going to be fun, not to mention the downloadable content!

PS3, hands down...

It has everything the 360 has plus more (feature-wise), PLUS, it has games that I actually want to PLAY...

Great co-op games like LittleBigPlanet and Warhawk are simply a killer deal for me since I love playing with my friends on one TV (I'm not a big fan of "online co-op"... IMO, that's a stupid idea). And Killzone 2 looks totally gorgeous... probably hands down the best looking console game out there right now. I also can't wait for Uncharted 2 (the first one rocked!), White Knight Chronicles, Team ICO's PS3 project, and plenty more games that you simply won't see anywhere else!

Xbox 360 without a doubt.

It's got a great range of games that the PS3 used to have exclusive to it's console. (same applies the other way around)

but i just love the complete online service of Xbox live compared to the lazy & boring look of the Playstation and it's half ass service.

I own both consoles so i don't like choosing (i payed alot of money for them both) but the the Xbox 360 gives me that complete feeling when i play it that the other consoles don't.

I will admit however that the PS3 looks the business. when they're stood side by side under your tv...you can't help but admire the PS3's sleek sexy look.

360 most defiantly b/c not only does it have great games (Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears of War 2 Burnout Paradise, ect.) but the add on content feature for most games is great.

now i've played the PS systems since i was little so without the 360 or PS3 the PS2 would be my top console, a wicked huge amount of games and yes the graphics suck, but still better than atari, right?

You sir, have epicly failed to compare consoles. Never compare ANY game console to the allmighty oldschool consoles, good gfx or not, legendary sound effects or not, never mention PS2 and Atari side by side when youre speaking in a comparing way.

PSX is propably the best console, then SNES and then NES, just because PSX has the best 2 games in the world, which are so best that nothing can top them, takes it the credit from the nostalgia bombs with some REALLY good games as well

to each his own. just because you think their comparison is wrong, it doesnt mean that console sucks or the reason they like it sucks. everyone has their own reason for liking a console or game. so dont go criticizing their likes and views towards them.

Umm... sorry mate but you just cant say that, not when youre "outnumbering" an older console in many ways. Such as GFX, think of the age and time, if you wouldve been there to play the actual Atari 2600 console, you wouldnt be saying that, its just impossible to compare such consoles as Atari, NES or SNES and Jag and such consoles to ANY " new age " console.

To prove this, google up the specs from Atari 2600 and PS2, compare them together, then look at the year they were produced and lauched into the gaming market. Then ask a gaming company or various, on how they have developed in that 23 years... yes... you read right, Atari 2600 is released in 1977, so yes, think again :)

ps. Its simply stupid to put Atari 2600 in comparison with PS2, even though how true it may be, its just not possible to compare such items... and to prove this without any asking around, or so on, think of the lifeline Atari 2600 had, its said to had the longest lifeline of ANY CONSOLE in the market atm, or from the oldschool consoles, so yeah, even an opinion can be "wrong" and simply stupidly put, id regret what i said if i was comparing these 2 totally different items, its like comparing computers and horses, what do they have incommon ?

^ so what does this have to do with the reason one person likes a certain console ? you act like these numbers are from god. someone might like 360 better than ps3 simply because he/she is a fanboy. that doesnt mean he deserves an epic fail for that. all im saying is everyone has their own reasons for liking a certain console whether it be sentimental value, superior performance, or whatever the reason. youre spouting out numbers and specs as if those are the only reasons why one should like this or that console. specs arent the only reason as to why a console is better in someones opinion.

keep in mind, this is a healthy conversation. im not flaming you or whatever. yes i agree that you cannot compare ps3/360 to snes or sega genesis. but just because ps3/360 out performs the other two by a mile, doesnt mean one cant like the inferior consoles.
