Is your console flat, vertical, or diagonal ?

like the title says, just curious on how fellow gamers store their consoles. mine are all flat because i heard its actually bad for the system. i dont know exactly why, but i want my consoles to last me for a looong time :] with that being said, my 360 still got rrod even though it was flat and out in the open..
and yea ive actually seen a diagonal stand for a ps2. it isnt official or third party, but a friend of mine made because he had some spare plastic and a lot of time on his hands haha. definitely unique, but i dont know if there are any advantages or disadvantages.

what about you ?

i place my consoles flat.... coz when they are upward i get thiss feeling like they are gonna fall off the table or something like that... oh sorry bout your 360...my 360 is lucky that it didnt experienced the "red ring of death" hope it never will..

all the posts for this thread were lost too. im guessing its all the posts and threads that were made during late april were lost.

Yeah, it's sad. Oh well, can't be helped I guess.

My consoles lay flat, all except my Wii, it sits vertically behind the TV to prevent an eye sore in the living room. I have never had a problem with it reading a disc or making odd noises like my 360 does when it is vertical.

my pal did actually. it was for shiet and giggles haha he had a lot of scrap plastic and time on his hands lol

I suppose I might as well post again.

I prefer to have all my consoles lying down. My PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 all lie horizontally. My two Wiis stand upright because I haven't enough room them both to lie horizontally, but I can lie down one of them if I play a game which uses GameCube controllers (which I do to reduce the risk of accidentally pulling the console over). My father's PlayStation 3 lies down whereas his Wii stands upright.
