CryEngine 3 Released to Devs
 Crytek today unleashed the third iteration of its CryEngine graphics platform in announcing the official release of CryEngine 3. The engine is the Crytek's first stab at a cross-platform solution, allowing developers to work with a single editor and output the results to a PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in real-time. crysis 2 will be built on cryengine 3, but god .... my gtx 260 won't be able to handle it no matter how i look at it T_T

awesome now i just need to but that Nvidia 5kGTX POWER GST 1 TB GPU with 5k GB memory bus!
Oh BTW DirectX 11 isn't that different from DirectX 10. It pretty much has the same relationship as Windows 7 and vista. It's what DirectX 10 should have been and only has minor tweeks and just a couple extra features. Last edited by jka989; 10-27-2009 at 04:40 PM. |
