Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 2 unveiled
 EA has officially unveiled Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The latter will be out this summer as a downloadable PSN, XBLA and PC title. Players will be whisked back to World War II and do battle in tropical locales Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima, using period vehicles and weaponry to wreak havoc. DICE made a name for itself with Battlefield 1942 many moons ago, and is relishing the chance to revamp the experience using brand new tech. We're told this will be playable at the New York Comic-Con this weekend. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be out this winter and build on the destructive, humorous and story-driven original that welcomed top-notch scores. Thick jungles, snowy mountains and dusty deserts will provide the background this time, with piles of weapons at hand to reduce everything to rubble. The celebrated multiplayer will return, too. I play BF: Bad Company nearly daily. In fact, I'm playing it right now. I'm very much looking forward to the
BC2 though----but I have to say: I'm. So. Fucking. Sick. Of. WWII. Cripes! When will it EVER be over? I flippin love BF:BC...and other PS3 players out there?  |

Battlefield 1943 Breaks Records with 600,000 Sales
 EA DICE today announced that its downloadable multiplayer shooter Battlefield 1943 broke records by selling 600,000 copies since its July 8 launch. 1943 became the fastest-selling Xbox Live game on its opening day, and broke the record for first-week sales as well. It also set similar records for the PlayStation Network in North America.   The brisk sales meant that the community's unlocking of the Coral Sea map, a goal set at 43,000,000 total recorded kills for each platform, came ridiculously fast on Xbox Live, having been accomplished after just six days on Xbox Live. "We are honored by the reception that the game has received so far," said EA producer Gordon Van Dyke. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Coming in March
 EA DICE's shooter sequel Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is to arrive in North America on March 2, 2010 and in Europe on March 5, 2010, the company has revealed. New Battlefield Bad Company 2 Trailer, Screenshots
 Having announced earlier today that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be released on March 3, 2010, EA has released new screenshots and a trailer for DICE's shooter.

The new trailer they've released for it---still blows me away (pun intended. NYUK!) I watch it every once in awhile on the laptop. Even put on the PS3 too. LOL, I just wanna start playing it already. Mash through the single player experience, and then start tearing people to shreds online. |
