My personal favorite of course being the "modded" HDD PS2, but only because of how many titles you can play on it.
Of course, I have a Gamecube too, and I have a Sega Genesis in storage. Used to own a Grey Gameboy and Nintendo back in the day too...but they broke down. 
My goal is to collect all the greatest 2D games of all time....of course, "Great" is a matter of opinion....

Definitely missing some good consoles, but my choice would be the SNES either way.
 My Huge Monster/Tentacle Hentai Rapidshare Collection! ^ Dead mainly. RIP ... *sob* ... might rebuild it again in the future. Until then, I might try and work on a "Guide to Monster/Tentacle Hentai" with info, images, connections, etc for h-anime to help the fans. Put my knowledge to use I guess, just need to get motivated! Just never forget! Tentacles > All. =] |

PS2 has a ton of great single player games. I like the system for the great role-playing games and the like that are all for single player. Guitar Hero rocks as well!

N64 was the greatest. There was a slew of brilliant games on it, and multiplayer was great. No one could resist nights playing Perfect Dark multi. It was great.

I personally liked the Wii.
It was innovative, and doesn't cop off of developed third party bullshit like Sony and Microsoft do all the time. But srsly. I loved the Game Gear and Nintendo DS handhelds. D8 |
