Well, they said almost the same thing to resident evil before the 4 (they were less bashing), so i ultimately think that, if one good game can revive a franchise, if the two turn out good, we could be looking at sonic turning from a joke into something everybody would love again

The way I see it, Sonic will have to make his comeback on one of the next-gen systems. Sonic Cronicles will probably allow us to see Sonic in another genre. Sonic Chronicles can be a welcome addition to the series, but we can only hope that Sonic Unleashed will re-vamp the series and not tank like Sonic and the Secret Rings.

all i can say is, you cant beat sonic adventures for the sega genesis. i was hooked on that when i was a kid and i still play it once in awhile when i have nothing to do.
