The new Halo Anime?!

Well I lately have seen the trailer for the new Halo Anime called "Halo:Legends". First thing that came up was "AN ANIME OF HALO!?!?! WTF?!?!". Anime doesn't fit halo AT ALL and I like halo a little but an anime? Come on, a CGI or something would be better, but I think this is a terrible idea. ._. The link to this anime is here and please tell me what you think of this and if you think this is a good idea, it's not aired yet though.

I don't know why. But the games Halo,Halo 2,3 seem much more powerful than the anime trailer preview.

Anyway.

I think i'd watch it. I'm not really a fan of the games, and if this Anime Series isn't just "AUUUGH MASTER CHIEF *fap fap fap*" then i think it'll turn out pretty good.

This project is not a television series, nor is it a movie. It is a collection of seven shorts or episodes. It has been stated that a few of the shorts are non-canon and the rest are, telling stories that range before Halo: CE and go all the way up to the end of Halo 3. Peter Jackson and Neil Blomkamp are not involved in this, and again, it has NOTHING to do with the Halo movie. This is being developed by 343 Industries, Microsoft's secret Halo branch that was announced at Comic Con 2009.

yes red vs blue is way better, but i think we shouldn't try to make western things into anime, while westerners shouldn't try to copy anime, it ends up looking awful and usually disgracing whatever is being emulated

It fits with the Halo universe, the animation looks awesome. Master Chief's armour makes him look like an anime mecha so at least it has the japanese spirit... I think it's worth the shot.
