Creating a Brush
Feeling creative and want to make your own brushes? Follow this tutorial to find out how.
1. Open up a white backgound. The size just depends on the size of the brush you would like to create.
2. Make sure to work with the color black when creating a brush.
-Draw anything you want. Words, Shapes, etc.
-Mine is a paw print :)
3. Alright, so once you are done it's time to make it into a brush.
-On your upper bar go to
EDIT > DEFINE BRUSH
4. In the frame that pops up, you'll see your brush and it's name in the long space. Click inside that long space and change the ending of the brushe's name (.jpg/.gif/.png and so on) to .abr and click OK
5. Click on your brush tool
and then look on the top bar and you should see your new brush. If you don't, it helps to click inside the icon next to where it says "brush" and scroll down to the bottom of your brush menu. It should be there =)
