Adding A .GIF To Your Sig
This tutorial will show you how to put a .gif image onto a pre-made stillframe background.
In this tutorial, I will combine this: With this: *NOTE: To make it easier, make sure your .gif image has a transparent background so you won't have to worry about it mixing with the background that you created. --------------------------------------------------------- Step 1: Open ImageReady :P Step 2: In ImageReady, open up the .gif image that you want to put on the background, and also open up the background image that you're going to use. Click Here To See Layout Step 3: Select your background image, press Ctrl + A to select the entire image, then press Ctrl + C to copy it. Close the background image then create a new image with the same pixel width and height as your background image. This will make it so that whatever formatting your background image had before will be removed so that it will be able to contain an animation. Then paste the background on the new image you just created, Ctrl + V to paste. If you made the new image have the same height + width, then your background should fit just right. Step 4: Select your .gif image, and in the animation toolbox, press the arrow on the top right corner and press Select All Frames. Step 5: After all your frames are selected, press the arrow once again and then press Copy Frames. Step 6: After your frames are copied, select the background image that you are going to use. You'll notice in the animation toolbar that the image only has one frame: You want your background image to have as many frames as your .gif image, so press the arrow that you used before, and press New Frame until you have the same amount of frames in your background image as you had in you .gif image*. *In my case, it was 9 frames, so I added that many. Step 7: After you have added the new frames, select all of them: And press Paste Frames. Select Paste Over Selection, tick Link Added Layers* and press OK. * Link Addded Layers is a VERY important step, otherwise your .gif image will be seperated into different layers and you'll have to work with them each separately and perfectly for the animation to work. Click Here To See Layout Step 8: Select one of the layers that contains a frame of your .gif image, and move it to where you want it to go on the background. If you selected Link Added Layers, you'll only have to do this once and each layer of the .gif will go in the same spot as the others. Click Here To See Layout Step 9: You're done! Now just save your final image. File -> Save Optimized As.

Re: Adding A .GIF To Your Sig
its not all that hard , i just had probs of making it flow good , the gifs i would use were just to big and made the sig sizes huge so to cut down i would slit its frames if half making it look choppy
