But does Convert X To DVD add a menu? I have so far been able to use Adobe Encore to make my DVD's and by using menu's select the video track (though I haven't tried it with anime or anime episodes yet.) This seems to work with chapters on single videos once they are reecoded so if you have encore I suggest giving it a a whirl... if not then try the convert x to dvd and if that doesn't work convert the video to MPEG2 and find a dvd program that will burn them with an autoplay feature. But then again this is just friendly advice as I don't watch from dvd hardly at all anymore since I have a TB HDD and then I have a laptop (which I take just about everywhere) so I don't have to worry hope this hep. quote=SpaceGoo;1706173]Alright, I tried it... it's not picking up the subtitle. :/ Keeps saying something like Codec failed. Add me on MSN and we can talk over that (if you have time/want to)?[/quote] The format is Mpeg2 or MP2 just to clarify

ConvertToDVD has a menu editor and several templates built in. I've never had issues with a dvd not running on a stand alone playing using that program. Though there are times when some .mkv softsubs don't come out very well. Xvid's are a sureshot to convert well, if you don't mind the difference in quality. At least on the version I have softsubs can be messy.
The menu editor is pretty simple, though haven't tried to make anything elobarate like using a .mov file or animated menus. Anytime I've wanted to do something like that I've used DVD Maestro to make and master the dvd. Pretty sure more elobarate menus are possible, I've seen some threads about them in their support forums. |

Re: Burning Anime to DVDs w/Subs?
As my experience, I used to make Video DVDs by using Nero 6 which was about few years ago when I burned Gundam SEED DESTINY using about 13 disks...XD
The program Nero Visionexpress was a good program for me because the design can be easily made although it takes time to burn since it is not a Data DVD. Plus, I remember that I think it allowed to burn animes as AVIs... not in other format... Although you might convert them to AVIs somehow and try out. Oh and yeah, Nero is not a free program btw. ![]()
