Why rapidshare?
A lot of the uploads are hosted on rapidshare, why?
I'm not saying rapidshare is horrible, I'm just curious. Is it because a good majority of people own rapidshare accounts?  Just got done watching: Full Metal Panic! TSR Currently watching: |

It just happens to be to the up-loaders preferences I guess. Personally I prefer Torrents.

1. RS has a very good points system for uploaders ... so most of the links are in RS
2. Since most of the links are in RS , most ppl have prem accs in RS. So, u can see its kind of a cycle ;)

The reason(s) why i upload on rapidshare is:
1. As Silent.Hunter said, it has a pretty good points system for the account owner. 2. They give variety of advantages to the premium users which other file hosters don't. 3. It's easier to upload there. 4. They don't cap your bandwidth when downloading/uploading.  Only those that are prepared to fire should be fired at. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Working on a new thread for all of my uploads.

also rapid share has A LOT less advertisers for free users.
despite the stupidly long waiting time. It also has a fair bit more bandwidth for free users. x |

Rapidshare is completely worthless for free users. Ridiculously long wait times, speed cap and sometimes there aren't even enough slots available for free users.
I prefer services like MegaUpload and Mediafire. |

yes, i agree
i dislike the ridiculous wait times lately, i havent been able to download anything from rapidshare because there are not enough slots -_- megaupload is nice, but i have gotten many bad cookies from the pop up ads Just got done watching: Full Metal Panic! TSR Currently watching: |
