My Computer [help needed]
Right I've got my pc all set and ready to order but I just need a double check here.
Motherboard [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Processor [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Got 2 gig ram, but gonna upgrade to 4 and I have no need for a graphics card because the GPU in the motherboard is good enough for me. I'll be using the HDMI port in the motherboard, no idea how much power that'll use *shrugs* The pc Case uses a 12 inch fan and two 2 inch fans aswell. I'm gonna be buying these parts and just need to double check that a 350w PSU should be sufficient enough to run theses. If not, your gonna make me buy a 750w......  so recon 350w is enough? I won't be overclocking the ram or processor with that amount of power yet. oh ya and windows 7 maybe. x Last edited by tiamat21; 10-22-2009 at 12:33 PM. |

For some reason, links I try clicking of yours never seem to work for me, so I'm gonna take a wild flying guess and recommend a 550w. If just because I've yet to see a decent rig that a 350w will work for XD

corsair 450W FTW !! , it will be more than enough , plus its not expensive either , i m using it and i am happy with the performance .. so i highly recommend it.
as far as 750W is concerned , its useful only if u are getting 2 graphic cards ... (SLI / crossfire)

ha, am going for the 750 cause I can get it at work for 30 quid.
won't go for 2 g cards, far too expensive. I do hear corsair are the best for PSUs :P But if 350 is enough, I see no point in getting a new one till a decent Christmas deal comes out on one. x |

it has an interrogated ATI Radeon HD 4200.
~but if I do get a new one, I might go for the g 9600 or 9800 series. Cheap and better than the expensive ones.  x |

actually , no , go for ati 4850 / 4870 , cheaper and better than nvidia trash :)
if u arent going for a gcard , then 350 W will be sufficient , unless u plan to add 5 tb of hard disk :P
