Hey Guys!

I was wondering...What's your MP3/media player of choice?

I currently own a Samsung YP-P2 (yes, I'm aware that it's old lol). But I'm hoping to get something new sometime in 2009.

I got a Cowon D2. Less heard of, but battery life rocks and plays a bunch of different formats including ogg and flac. Mmmmm... flac.

I've got an iPod Classic (6th gen im pretty sure) but if i had the money i would love to get either an iPod Touch or the Cowon S9.
The Cowon is super sexy.

I too love great sound, but on-the-go, I only care about the sound-isolation headphones/earphones...I hate it when I can't hear a thing through the engine noise >.<

While we're at those headphones, BOSE rocks! XD

I use my iPhone, and I'd use an iPod Touch or Nano if I didn't have the iPhone. iPod is definitely the best choice if you have the money for it in my opinion.

I'm a bit of an audiophile. Not as obsessed as some, but I like my music to sound really crisp. High fidelity speakers with an equal SPL for all audible frequencies. Some audiophiles think that they need to do stuff like isolate their electronics from vibration as it produces noise. I think it's a waste of money because it's impossible to entirely eliminate vibration and, when your dealing with audio equipment in your living room, the amount of noise created isn't audible. I guess some people have their hobbies, but you won't find me measuring sound quality with an oscilloscope. XD

eh...I don't even know what the heck and oscilloscope is lol...anyways, crisp sound is good (the more the better), but I think audio-philes go a bit overboard sometimes. It may be just me XD.

Symbols and emblems are what gives us anonymous users a recognizable identity. Kippy could have had anything else than the communist symbol, as long as it was violent, well known, and not pejorative. I'm not pompous enough to make my own emblem.
