Thank you wat, also hopefully by mid 2008, I will give you my domain and you can upload your stuff on this forum and your blog, free of charge.
I will give it a go and tell you what is the best programs, my idea was we download japanese videos without sub and do not need to download a subbed version but get the subtitle and apply it to our videos.
does anyone know how I can contact DB or LUNAR, I need to test if their sub can work on any unsub animes?.
please move this thread to tech head.

just find the .srt subtitle for your video and name it the same as the original
like naruto21.avi and naruto.srt for the sub file
open the avi on videolan and thats it.

I still prefer that the subs have been embeded with the video it's easier.
and you are sure every player show it were it must be.

I know but what happens if you have 4gb worth of animes and then you need to redownload again to get a subbed version. too bad srt cannot be found anywhere and I have check it out.
so looks like we have no choice but download a subbed version and remove the old animes.

srt are hard to be found because they are useless if you use them with a version of the movie different from the version the made for you certainly will have some sync problem

If the anime is the same length and in different region such as 23, 25, 30 frame per sec, but most anime i think is 23 frame per sec. You can use Subtitle workshop to convert to different framerate, as long as the video is the same length.

yes the frame rate can be solved relatively easily but what made the problem is the length of the anime .
and if i'm not wrong some where i read that the original Ergo proxy has the frame rate of about 60
