**Rules to post in the Artistic Beauty Thread**
You can only post graphics or resources you made.
No copying/direct-linking/stealing.
No plagiarism of textual materials such as tutorials.
No imitations or derivative works of graphic materials.
Do not post other people jobs and say its yours.
If the image you are posting is too big use a thumbnail or a link for it.
If happens to post anything with copyright, give it the right credits.
Take care, and be creative!
General Rules for The Graphic Contest!
1) You can only post graphics or resources you made.
2) No imitations or derivative works of graphic materials.
3) If the image you are posting is too big use a thumbnail, spoiler or a link for it.
4) You cant post something you already posted before or use part of it.
5) You can join every contest if you want. All members of the forum and also the staff can enter.
6) Each Graphic Contest will have specific rules and theme what you must follow.
7) Discussion, questions, ideas go to Graphic Contest Discussion Thread.
General Rules for The SOTW:
1) Max sig pixel size: Maximum 500x250/250x500, Minimum 200x100/100x200.
2) Maximum file size: 1mb.
3) All entries will be taken 5 mins before the close of Competition.
4) If you are going to post multiple attempts please just edit your post. (Means: If you want to change your entry, dont do another post, just edit your currently post).
5) Late Entries will not be accepted.
6) Once the Poll is up, there is no change of Sig entry available.
7) The signature must contain your username on it.
8) Must be a new sig, no *premade sigs are allowed
*Premade = more than 1 week old.
9) Don't reply to the SOTW Thread, use its Discussion Topic instead.
10) Votes will only count once the user especify the reason of the vote on their post not only by the poll. If you entered the competition, don't vote for yourself - it's just not polite and can lead to complications if only the contenders end up voting.
General Rules for Voting in officials competitions:
1) Must be a member for at least a month to vote.
2) Must have at least 50 posts (we will be checking validity of all members voting to prevent vote padding).
3) Do not vote for someone simply because you like them or the render they used.
4) Don't vote for yourself.
5) When you vote, pick the entry you think should win and you must to give reasons why.
6) The votes will only count once the user specify the reasons of the vote. At least 2 valid reasons.
7) The reasons must be valid. Basing graphical opinion.
Examples of invalid reasons are as follows
- i like the render
- i like the anime
- i like the background/bg
- it looks cool/pretty/cute
- so & so is my favorite artist
- or giving one reason only, at least 2.
OBS: Votes will be Valid/Invalid at the Gfx Team's discretion, and their will be no debate over our decision.... you don't have to be an artist to vote, but please use good judgment.
PS: Please contribute voting as well, not only with entries. ^____^
General for Tag Team/ 1on 1:
1) How works:
For 1on 1: You make a thread of who wants to go battle you for a gfx battle. Both players makes the rules and agree to it. Ex ( color, theme, render etc... ) Set up a thread of who Vs who . And start in the end make a new thread to make a poll and make members vote for the best sig, avatar whichever.
For Tag team Battles works the same. You also can challenge 1 or more than one member.
2) How will work the poll of a specific battle: the owner or the members what organized the battle will decide.
3) The thread submission and poll are responsibility of owner what proposed the battle. After the final when the winner announced, a mod will close and add the winner in "win statics thread".
4) The owner of the battle needs to pay attention on his/her battle. Because the thread will not to be opened indefinitely, after 2 or 3 days the deadline of the poll what it was decided by the owner of battle, even if he/she not count the votes the poll will be closed.
5) If you proposed a battle, it will give a entire month to have replay and participations.If not will be closed.
If past a month and you want re-open the same battle, send to "vanesinger" a pm asking.
