well you need to tweak vista to run faster and I kinda take lot of resources.
you need a powerful pc with lots of memory.
looks on the internet for optimizing vista performance
read the instructions and I am not held responsible if your pc KABABBBOOOM.

the reason you may not be able to play any online games is because of the download permissions. if you right click on the icon and allow it to download or recieve data from the web the program show work. Thats what went wrong with wow when i had vista on my computer during beta.
My suggestion, backtrack to xp till Vista service pack 1. you and your sanity will thank you for it.
Wait you PAID for it?...M$ Has a freaking free copy for friends and family off there ftp if you know it...hahah you got raped of your money.

I didnt pay for my copy of vista, but generally I like paying for some software. And programming an OS is difficult work. I have pity on guys who chose that as a career path. They must hate themselves.
^I can't believe someone would pay for anything if they can get it free...Guess I just like to save my money.

I'm all for getting stuff for free, but I also aware that people work hard to create something like an OS or some piece of critical software and in some cases I like paying so that there is a reason for them to keep doing quality work.

Vista's Okay for MOST software now that the companies have had time to catch up with compatibility issues, though the only downside is most of them will require you to upgrade... I don't know about the games though at this point

Millions of computer users actually do respect copyright laws, unlike a few million others... Freeware is actually a suprisingly LEGAL way to save that money when a person cannot afford the paid software... Besides that... Microsoft nowadays does a pretty nice job at cornering software pirates especially when it involves the operating system... I don't find it worth the risk of not being able to operate my computer to get a free copy of windows when I can get Linux for free... [/end rant]

Yea I dual boot with redhat, I didnt pay for the redhat OS copy though, although I do believe you have to buy the OS now. Linux is great for work and safer internet browsing but really doesnt have the support for the software I use.

I'm not familiar with the dual boot system, but I've seen a few people that used it... If I could use that to run vista with a Mac I'd do it... As much as I like vista I mainly have it so that I can use my AutoCAD programs, and those aren't compatible with the MAC... I haven't used Linux before though...

It's good to pay for software that their programmer actually want to get paid for it.
about Microsoft i use their program without paying them because it's what their action showed they want .
they banned my country for their software ,so now i can get their Cracked Microsoft Vista for only 1.5 $ at every store and they could not do a damn thing about it . by the way it's 4 month i use my vista and it never stopped work .more importantly the crack is so good that there was not a single update i could not install on it and every time i check my computer i see a beautiful genuine windows .:monk::monk::monk::monk:
