I used to complain about megaupload but not anymore, see below to find out why.:wakuwaku:

Here is the trick that surely work no need megaupload toolbar or adds on for fire and no proxy switching.

load cmd and type ipconfig /all and just see what is your current ip. download a file from megaupload, once the download complete well you just go to your modem control panel(not your os control panel but the ip address to your adsl modem.
looks for a disconnect button for you adsl modem, click on it and reconnect.

the ip will change and go, download more files from megaupload, this trick can be used with downthemall which is a free download manager for firefox.

if you got trouble go to [Only registered and activated users can see links]

the when download start, if you get 503 error do not worry, try again and it will start but if you pause it just get another ip and resume the paused download.

It also works with rapidshare but you can download only 1 file from megaupload and rapidshare, no more waiting.

dial-up users cannot use this trick since their ip is the same and are limited to a few ip.

faster way would be ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew

if the company you're at, gives you a fixed IP, then you're f****d XD

plus, I hate changing IPs, my torrents get disconnected like this ^^

just stop your torrent and restart the ip, the torrent client create a cache that will give your hash code and even if you change ip it will still works. I use utorrent and force recheck and it works unless of course your torrent lack seeders.

also we are talking about megaupload and rapidshare, not torrent ok. it is a myth that changing ip will affect the torrent speed which is false, your torrent speed are fast depending on two key factor like seeders and your internet traffic.

Ouch, I have a fixed IP address. Megaupload really is annoying with it's toolbar shoving it to the downloader, plus I already have a toolbar. Hopefully uploaders upload their files on Mediafire, or if it's on rapidshare I'll just ride the burden of waiting for 2 hrs.

All else fails, use the Free Megaupload Premium Happy hour ^.^
I wait till it's time, then I use the happyhour myself.

I'm on a router, and if i try the release/renew or any other meathod, it tends to not work becasue the router has a static IP mask which acts like a firewall.

i really hate using this method since it doesnt work for me unless i close all of my browsers before disconnecting. and it gets annoying after a while >___>

do not blame me, blame it on megaupload for tracking us but if you got firefox just remove the cookes and not the cache.

I know what you were/are talking about, I was just stating why I don't like this method

plus I'm a member of a private tracker, and it allows access by IP, so if you changed your IP you need to log in to have it view your newest IP so you can upload/download... forcing re-check will NOT work

and because of MU/RS restrictions I became to LOVE torrents, and hate MU/RS ^^

Actually aside from having to wait until 9PM to use it... it works better than most methods discussed here... but you have to live in the US or Canada to use it...
But you have to have the toolbar and an account with them

There's an alternative way. Looks silly but it works for me. Dunno if it works 4 any of u guys. If your ISP randomly gives dynamic IP addresses every time you connect to the internet then just switch off your router (make sure its a router that runs on an external power supply and not on the computer) and wait for a few seconds then turn it on again.

rubbish torrent sux since those tuututt leechers have download it and shame on them for not leaving the upload at 10kb which is sick, why can't they just leave it alone, they seed but they give us only 1kb and they us up the rest of their speed to download stuff.

Look up how to use/find proxies and all your problems will be solved... except for download speed :P
