DBZ is definitely one of the longest series.....assuming you also watched Dragonball. I started watching Inuyasha but I hated it after watching a few episodes so I quit. I still watch Naruto...and it's pretty long.

I gotta say that for me, it was Ranma1/2.
Weighing in at 161 episodes, 12 OVAs, and 2 Movies, its the longest series I have seen so far.
(and anyone that knows me knows that I do NOT count Mainstream. Examples: Naruto, Bleach, DeathNote (although i loved it), etc.)

Idk why but those are the only 3 LONG series that I actually like watching. I usually watch the short ones (as in 20-50 eps).

I don't really like long series coz they usually beat around the bush with the story and scenes...
But I do love watching Anime!
The longest I've ever seen was Ah my Goddess :P

Bleach is the only series over 26 episodes that I've seen from the very beginning. The only other long anime I followed was Inuyasha and I began skipping about around the fourth season.

One Piece with 411 episodes so far... or does it not count.. because it hasn't finished yet? Then it'd Naruto/Shippuuden and Bleach... but apart from those 3 animes... i haven't really watched any 'long' ones.. the longest apart from those three would have to be stuff like Toradora or Fruits Basket which are 25 episodes long >.<'
