Yu Yu Hakusho

I haven't seen the whole series yet since it kept starting over whenever I watched it on TV (I also can't really find a good place for downloading the japanese episodes), but I've seen most of it and read most of the manga. =D I think this is like my all time favourite anime next to Sailor Moon, Naruto, Drangon Ball Z and D•N•Angel.

I know they sell like episodes at several anime stores and movie stores nearby [they were selling the entire series for around 80$$] and you get the manga and stuff but I haven't seen it on television in a LONG time! I think they still air it on satelite but I'm not sure...>,< But it's a pretty old series so I guess this is the right category for this thread...

Well, Yu Yu Hakusho wasn't that bad but it had almost nothing new, everything was the same as other Anime that deal with competitions and specially dark competitions. You could like tell what was gonna happen for another 10 episodes without seeing anything more than teasers.. I have really had with Anime like these that deal with some sort of tournament and a teenager/kid main character. If you have seen any of them, don't bother seeing the rest unless of course you are like me and like to give everything a chance(in other words..you got nothing better to do than stay before the TV and watch Anime, however pathetic it may be..)

About Kurama..he's almost the only slightly cool character in Yu Yu Hakusho, he was prolly the only one I actually found a bit intriguing..he's not that awesome though, there are way too many characters like him...The fox simply is an imitation but at least he was bearable...

this was one of my child hood animes. I loved this show sooo much. I like Yusuke X Botan than Keiko though but never the less Keiko is still soo cool:wakuwaku:

this anime is old. i remember watching this series from the local tv channel around 10 years ago. the story was interesting though, it was very well made. but the latter part of the series was not as good as the earlier ones

The manga was excellent! Sadly the anime didn't do the title justice... Well most anime are like that. =p

Fantastic story.. read the manga instead of watching the anime is what I would recommend.

This one is one of my favorite, better than DBZ, much better than Saint Saiya. But it cannot match Hunter X Hunter, from the same author of YuYuHakusho.

i still remember watching this anime as a kid. they showed the anime on tv in our country and the dubbing was horrible but as a kid i ate it all up. definitely enjoyed watching it

I liked the series, but for the saga when one character tried to fuse the demon world with the human, they completely censored it. I was so enraged, even now I still get angry when I remember this.

I thought this was a great series, it had a few too far drawn out moments. The ending is something that helped make this a good show because it had an ending that provided good positive closure. Not all animes do that, and I don't normally care for the ones that have a tragic ending.

and when i go to book store i found yuyu hakuso komic (aka manga)

Yu Yu Hakusho is one of my favorite series,anime-wise. It has a decent story and kept me interested. I am buying the series again on DVD so i can watch them at my leisure.

I own the entire series on this one. I haven't watched it in a while, so i't collecting dust. One of my fave characters was Youko Kurama. I still think he's cool. I have considered digging this one out and watching it again, though.

I never bought the manga, though. The stores were like releasing a book in every 6 to 12 months apart. I didn't want to start something and not finish it while it still had my interest.

They are, but not the original voice actors. It was annoying, because the voices didn't fit nearly as well as the series ones.

I got both movies and the entire series dual audio and subbed in a torrent, maybe I can find it again somewhere.
