*YAWN* damn, I'm sleepy :em0142: but even though I'm sleepy I got stubborn and started PS up again (kinda happens alot :em0129: )

and I made an ava, but I'll also post 2 other ava's I made at night when sleepy :em0140: so you can already guess my opinions about it, better then sh!t, but not that good :189bbdde:

anyway, let's post them

let's start with the Ga-Rei one.
started reading the manga while back and really liked it, and there were some cool pics with every volume, so thought of using them for PS, but sadly enough I didn't checked the quality, so now I was only able to use them as avatars

chose this picture and tried it out, the color got done pretty well, but a tad on the bright side, but then the rest... just couldn't think up something good, so ended up putting in ugly text and an ugly bar behind the text and be done with it :sob:

next is the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai ava.
when I saw the full picture I really wanted to make it into a avatar, so I tried. when I got the colors all done it was time for te extras, but somehow whatever I did it turned out bad, so just gave up and saved it :gabu:

and now tonights try, the Sola ava.
after making an ava I really liked today I wanted to try to do it again, and picked out this picture.
it was damn irritating to get the colors down, took ages for me to get it right.
then I added a movie bar to the ava (cuz of text that I was to lazy to fix :em0129: )

after that I added text and 1 brush on the movie bar, border, 2nd dotted border and then I added splatter brushes around the border, but this was the true h0rr0r, cuz if I'd take down the opacity it'd get ugly, but if I'd keep the high opacity then the picture would get harder to see

in the end I gave up and gave the layer an 80% opacity xD

so my advice: don't do PS when you're ready to go to bed :constipation: it won't help you much :em0103:

Of thoes Avys, i like the "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai" and the "Sola" Avys best ^.^
The Ga-Rei Avy just don't appeal to me that well >.<

you mean ava size right? xD

but with the avatar contest I started trying out 140x200, and I really liked working with it, so have been using that size for a while now xD

and no matter what I do I won't be able to use an ava made by me on this forum, cuz all my ava's go over the kb size limit xD
