Well i am a Guildwars player have been for a while now have all 3 games and completed them . Are there any other guild wars player in this forum.

What do you guys think of the new expansion coming out and the future release of Guild Wars 2 rumored not to have a level cap on characters .

Do you think that Guild wars would ever rival world of war craft or the new war hammer online game

If any one needs a hand in game pm me and ill give you my in game name .

I've completed all three campaigns and was playing through Eye of the North, although I haven't logged on for a good few weeks now.

I read somewhere that for GW2 the developers were thinking of loosing the leval cap but making only levels 1 - 20 matter. Levels 21 and after are only there for people to brag about.

i guess it's for people with a lot of exp, to showoff it... lol
still it'd be kinda strange... "i'm lvl 244327 and i'm as strong as a lvl 20 char" O_o

It's just pretty much all rumors right now concerning GW2, anything can change between now and release.

havent played GW, playing wow atm, not very interested in a instanced world . OK it is free but wow gives you more for its fee. In GW you are limited to 20 levels, no end game, and in wow you have up to 70 levels per character (you can play with 8 different classes). You dont mix them. You have only 7 slots in GW to place your spells in in WOW you have 4 bars with loads of things
ofc at the end you raid against dragons and demons and you go in heroic dungeons but you payed for it

Awesome game. Very tactical, very MTG-ish. If WoW's pvp worked like this, I would ditch it, but it just doesn't.

WoW is for hanging out, GW is for competitive play.

I played the beta extensively. I still cannot really justify buying a game that seems to have so little replayability, though.

pretty sure gw has 8 skill slots dude. not to be nit-picky or something.

the lvl 20 cap isnt really a limit. it makes u have to choose what u want to allocate ur stats in, so its a sort of a balance. the 8 skill slots makes you have to choose what u want to bring with u, which sort of functions as another balance.

dunno what u mean by an end game. there are dungeons in gw, with hard modes. i guess those would be similar to these heroic dungeons you speak of.

just wanted to make ur argument a little more balanced, eh?

reason i bought gw back in the day was that it didnt have monthly fees. monthly fees were pretty much the reason i never bought wow. too expensive for me. :destroy:
