I think it would pick up from where the first series left off. Based on the visual novel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ef_-_a_fairy_tale_of_the_two)’s plot, this series’ trailer (http://www.ef-melo.com/trailer.html), and season 1 in general, I assume it will deal with Shuicihi Kuze and Hayama Mizuki’s story. Maybe we’d get to see a bit of the characters from season 1 as well since this story is interconnected with that. Certainly, Yu and Yuuko will be present, and hopefully we’d get to learn more about them this time around.

hmm, but if altux say
it's a bit bad if comparing with the first season

well, Yuu and Yuuko's story is the thing that keeps me watching the Anime
not the Mizuki-Kuze

and as usual, if it's from Shaft, you'll get unusual Cinematics
even if the Story is boring, at least the Cinematic will comfort you

i kinda like it
