D.Grey-Man question

this is just a small question why in the world did they end the anime after the fight with the LVL 4 akuma ?? I just can´t get it they can end a great anime after 103 epesode but they can make amlsot 200 epesodes of a shit anime like Naruto sigh whats wrong with the japanes ppls now days ?

i can give a guess as to the reason, the fact is the anime was catching up with the manga way to quickly, so there were 3 options,

1 insert a ton of fillers and loose half the audience
2 go ahead and make up the story hoping its correct to the manga when its released
3 stall the series and allow the manga to advance enough before continueing so the can add decent fillers, and not stalling fillers

so they went with the best option.

They probably wanted people to read the manga for profit.
Same thing happened with Naruto; the anime caught up with the manga too quickly so a huge amount of fillers were added to slow the anime down so the manga could advance.
DGM didn't add fillers either because they didn't want to lose audience or because fillers aren't really appropriate for the anime.

yeah it caught up with the manga so there taking a break so they can make the manga longer but that guy keeps getting sick.... so the manga taking ages for more thingys.
also i have a Q, wtf is D.Gray Man, like who is he? is it because the earl is like sorta gray? or because of allens silver hair lol? or what?

They will make a new season... or that is what i heard.... they have to do it... thay can't stop it when they did... but i think it's right that they wanted the manga to advance.. before continuing the anime..

The series was popular too in japan and on the net. So I wonder if another season will come!

This anime is very complex and the story is barely it seemed to be getting somewhere so I doubt that it will end like that, hoping not *thinks*

it could possibly be that they ran out of money to keep the project of d. gray man going. i agree that it was disappointing but there are possible number of causes that may happened. it could be that maybe the mangaka didn't feel the need to continue it any further or that there were no people to produce the anime. you never know....

I really like this anime but yeah was in shock when all of a sudden it was like "the end". I had a hard time finding the episodes and now that its licensed am looking forward to owning them. I know people compare it to soul eater and it does have some similarities (especially the piano playing, come on why did that have to be the same?) I still liked both of them. Soul eater is just so much lighter and funnier than Dgrayman. On the otherhand Dgrayman has the loftier story and more twists and turns and I loooove Allen and Lenalee.

What is your problem?! D.Grey-man is now my new favorite anime. And i would rather it just end then adding lots of filers. I haven't finished the anime but i am on top of the manga....i wish it would come out faster!

and there will be an anime of it in the future

I hope that they continue the anime. If they finish the manga without continuing the anime that is going to be another great anime that never got to see its prime.
