I've heard very few bands, I like Dir En Grey because there well kinda metal... I cant tell with them

I've also heard An Cafe and I hate them in my opnion

my vote goes for Kagrra, ..I just love them!!!! >.< ..anyway, I also like miyavi, gackt, x japan, diru and asian kung fu generation...they rock!!!! as far as jpop is concerned the one I like is utada hikaru (maybe you know the songs used in kingdom hearts) !!

for me it should be Do As Infinity, Exist Trace, Dir en Grey, Gazette, Girugamesh, Screw, eqlipsce, Ellegarden, Freenote, High & Mighty Color, Dali, Scar, Dragon Ash, RIZE, hurts and much more.....................hmmmm.......i feel like i am listening to japanese music more than any other music.........

Only J-Rock band I know of is Maximum The Hormone and do like them quite abit.

Apart from that, I LOVE Polysics (dont know what youd class them as) as theyre just weird and mad.
Also Puffy AmiYumi I do like, even tho theyre quite cheesey.... and Kotoko as well has some very very decent songs

Since i've started seriously watching anime i've also descovered the beauty of J-Rock bands!
And there are a lot that deserve our appreciation!The sound and look is way diffrent from what i've been used to and probably that's why i like them so much , even through i don't understand the all the lyrics...
It doesn't matter as long as i get a great feeling from them!

Some of my fav. bands..L'Arc~en~ciel , Miyavi , Lareine , Gazette , Dir en grey , X Japan , HYDE , Versailles , An caffe , ayabie , Buck-Tick , D'espairsRay and probably some random songs from other bands..
