It's interesting but not something I would consider a great sig...
It is to dramatic in color change with to few frames. Animate between the effects or do a frame blend(whatever you happen to know how to do) to make it more appealing to the eye. The effect is interesting looking but its is not executed in a way that would be very appealing. Maybe its because you used an app like Image Ready, try more advanced app like After Effects or higher for animation.
does anyone read now adays :em035:
i know its not a great sig wasn't really meant to be and it was done with GIMP as i said in my firs post :JFBQ00214070517A:
i thank you for your C&C but i know exactly how little effort went into this sig ^_^
you can call me mage if you want by the way

It's not really about how much effort you put into it or if you don't even like it yourself. My suggestions were only to try to help you improve no matter the time put into it (by suggesting you learn/use another app designed for animation if you plan on making animations).
i understand as much not to use gimp to do animations but i never do animations ive never enjoyed them i just did this because i had 9 layers and nothing to do with them

okay, I swear I posted in here, stupid thing not loading >_<
Its an ok animation, the same darkness level would be nice tho.
And Gen, I would say that your using gimp as an reason why its not great too, none of the rest of us do >_<
We need a gimp userbar...To google!

heres some others if you like them more. [Only registered and activated users can see links]
I used to use GIMP on Linux since it all there was, but especially with CS3 I prefer PS. Theres a feature in Maya (the main app I use) that synchronizes PS with Maya texture nodes which I like to use.
i never do animations ive never enjoyed them
You probably don't like animations because you don't know how to use a good app for creating them and have yet to see how much more interesting they can be than PS / GIMP work(and much more fun to create allowing you 100x more creativity). Keep in mind you need to use GIMP or PS for any good animations so knowledge using them is needed. Any effect you use in GIMP/PS can also be done and key framed to become 100x more interesting in an app like After Effects(or Combustion, Flame, Inferno, Shake or others). Meaning, instead of having only one frame of that effect you make many versions of it and control them. I guess its all comes down to if you are willing to learn more or just want to stick with what you do currently.:bingo2:
