i didnt like the ending of the manga..i really wanted kouta and lucy to end up together, but those damn people wouldnt let her live peacefully..that damn director kakuzawa...id kill him myself

I loved the anime. But was really disappointed with the manga, bad art and too many continuity errors. "No Wanda has been kicked and is dead. Wait no Wanda is fine." Watch the series, I cannot stress this enough.

omg Elfenlied is such a sad anime. I was bawling my eyes out by the end of it. But i did see some where time skips and things. so that did confuse me, it sorta didnt make it make any sense, buut air Kanon was like that too so it's the same stuff.

i thought that it was a good anime and i just started to read the Manga about a week ago. i like the Anime because i thought that it had a good story line and i also got a little confused about the time skipping parts. i think the manga is ok but i don't think that the 2 are really 100% the same. well that and there are a lot of volumes for the manga.

I like both the Anime and Manga. I feel they both was good. I felt really bad for how they both ended.

I watched it, too. I don't think, that the anime was better....but i hate the ending. I really wish, that lucy and kota would fall in love at the and. :constipation:

Its a good story but perhaps too grim an ending. I was hoping for a more heartwarming ending to it =(

I really preferred the manga over the anime. purely because it filled in alot of gaps and showed a better ending for most people. The anime was good, but it was a bit short and lacking.
