Help!!!

i recently downloaded Dragon Knight 4 (Dos), but its driving me crazy, how come the game is lagging so much...Help

Well I would say check your system specs to see if you computer can run it (if dos means PC) But for a game made back in Mar 28, 1997 (don't ask me how I know) Your computer should run it just fine. Make sure you don't have any unwanted applications running in the back ground. Also is this a bought copy or is it what I think it is. You might want to check the games settings if it has any to turn some of them down. Also is your anti virus/Spy ware up to date just asking of course?

im sure the anti-virus is up to date... anyways how do you shut down the unwanted applications and how do you lower the CPU usage for DK4

well do you defragment ur disk frequently?? and do you do the disk cleanup frequently??

Try it with dosbox but there is a torrent of a cd-rom version of dk4, so pm me if you want to help me seed it.:-)

since the torrent is moving slowly, I cannot download it and test it out.

i had a problem when playing the original serious sam games the other day...i have a duel core and realized i had to turn one of them off in order for the game to run smoothly. If you have a duel core you might want to try that also.
