I really look forward to this sequel.
since Ef a tale of memories is on the top of my favourite anime list
it's always nice to know more of a character that you're familiar with.

The anime is being fansubbed now...and I really like it so far. It's being done in the same style and colors as memories, but its about the Himura, the guy from the church who is related to the girl without the memory (augh I cant remember her name!). When I first met him, I was interested in his back story etc., but we had to wait for this. Well its here finally.

ef - a tale of melodies (and memories) are both romantic anime. If you're looking for action or comedy, you'll have to look elsewhere :-p. The story's good and the characters are nice too (plus the animation is beautiful), but if you don't like romance steer clear.

Man, I thought the psychological drama in memories was bad, but after watching melodies, I don't think anything can surpass episode 6. Overall, both are top notch anime series and you should try to watch them.
I showed ef - a tale of memories to one of my friend who said "He would only watch Dragon Ball Z", after 1 episode, he was hooked :th_086_64color:

I personally feel that memories was much better than melodies. I think there was much more of an impact, I felt that melodies was in a bit of a rush of foreshadowing a lot of major events.
