:em04: inuyasha is really over!!! omg this is so sad I remember when it first came out and no one really knew about it sniffle sniffle the manga is over but I don't know whats going on with the anime. I hope it does it justice and hopefully there won't be any horrible fillers for those who have finished reading inuyasha, wat did you think of the ending? please posts ur likes, dislike, or if you want to know where to find it Naraku we shall miss ur stubboness you sore loser sniffle

bout time they made one....inuyasha was actually really popular i watched it in highschool as a freshman lol and now im 2 years out of hs... and it finally finished.... the ending was good but i still think a kiss was necessary.....just to seal the deal...as for another series i dont think they need one....the show ended fine with me...cuz it took forever to end.... then one day i decided to read the manga and i was happy i waited so long cuz i only had to wait a couple months before it ended......inuyasha was my top fav show but now i must say it dropped to my 3rd fav of all time... but thats only cuz it took so long....but i still love it and i plane on collecting every season and manga when they finally finish releasing which wont be for a couple years....

it was a cool ending
not like some other mangas wich doesnt have a "happy end" or if the end is "open"
i wanted to see that the "dog turd" transform to human tho

well kikyo died like 50 chapter before the ending lol or something like that....umm pretty much every bad guy died... so naruka, kanna, kagura etc... inuyasha gets like 3 upgrades after the backlash wave... they kill naraku... kagome almost gets trapped in the jewel...she makes the correct wish to destroy the jewel only because of inuyasha being by her side....they win but they end up going back to their own worlds... she stays in her world for 3 years. sango and miroku have 3 kids... kagome finally returns to inuyasha world and all that happens is she call sessohomaru brother which is funny and it ends with her and inuyasha at a mountain top saying something along the lines that they will always be by each other side...
sorry for the quick and nasty recap but there is entirely to much stuff that went on to explain...
OH and NO there was not a KISS...

If you go to this site manga.bleachexile.com you'll be able to read the manga chapters. Chapter 550 is where the start the final battle with Naraku...

who wouldn't be? the whole series would just work up to twenty episodes of filler new bad guys then a power almost killing naraku then a reset im surprised the writer didn't want to milk it for another ten years i always see inuyasha fan boys at cons

I thought it was kind of eh.

Seriously, it's like the 95% of all animes have a "Happily ever after" ending, and I guess it's just me, but I've gotten really tired of it.

It would have been a much more emotional, powerful, and memorable ending if Kagome stayed in her world.

The anime ended a few years ago, didn't it?

In my opinion InuYasha is one of those series that should have ended sooner. Sorta dragged on towards the end, made me think "FREAKING FINALLY" when it ended :/

Actually inuyasha ended in the manner that rumiko takahashi ran out of the ideas, and she wanted to end it asap. :yawn:

For example, Koga who has received new weapon never appeared again, that's kind of plot hole. And there was no real battle in the end, just naraku going kamikaze.

Personally I'm dissappointed about how it ended - it was just too lame

Inuyasha got me hooked when I first saw the commercials on Toonami. Went online, researched, and got my hands on everything and anything that pertained to it. I kept track of it as it went for weeks, months. And then I got sick of it.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great manga and anime. But it really did drag on for too long. I still haven't read the chapters between the middle and the end yet because there really are too many. Maybe one day when I get more time. Did like the happy ending though, in comparison with the "life goes on" that it could've gone with.

Now I'll just have to see what Rumiko can come up with next!

ive been readin the inuyasha manga for so many years. i think i started readin it back in 02. lol. but yeah, its weird to see that its over. i really always thought the ending would be different than it was. and i really hoped kikyo would have been around longer. she was my favorite character. but i always hated how the anime just didn't even have a real ending to it. i was so confused when i watched the last season's ending.

yeah those types of endings sux. a good anime will kill of at least 2 or more main chars.
Perfect example = Evangelion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped reading at around chapter 200 or so, and skipped to read the ending. It was just too long for me :maikka: gah. I hate Naraku because he kept living and came back to life :damn:
But I was really glad the ending wasn't so bad XD

i liked the ending, kagome and inuyasha get to be together, she gets to train as an actual priestess, and miroku and sango get to live a happy wind tunnel free life.
