i know this sounds stupid but how do i add a password to my .rar file??

when your about to archive it (Right click the rile and hit add to archive) Select advanced and click the set password button :)

well save it as a profile as well by setting the compression and what ever setting and save it as a profile and when you create a new rar, just load the profile and it will set it to your previous configuration like password and etc.
