the first time i watched half of it at a friends house but i got bored of it.
then 2 years later i watched it on my computer and i really got into it and it was one of the funniest movies ever.

i love martial art movies.
Fearless probably has the best choreographed fight scenes.
the drunken master ones were nicely done.
also the twin effect is very good. some people didnt like it but i love the fight scenes in that movie. also same thing with twin effect 2.
i could go on and list movies continuously

Absolutely loved The Protector. Damn, Muay Thai is just brutal, FUCKIN AWESOME hehehe. I'm still looking for Ong-Bak though.

MY favourite movie genre is martial arts! I just love the Protector and Ong Bak...2 of my most favorite movies heheh. Tony Jaa is crazy man...way better than jackie chan and jet li in my opinion

I don't know a lot of movies in this genre, however my favorite would definitely be "Hero". Great story with great characters and the visuals are just amazing. Some other ones I like are Stephen Chow movies like "Shaolin Soccer" and "Kung Fu Hustle". I also recommend "Kung Pao: Enter the Fist". Arguably the dumbest movie you will ever see, but funny as hell.

I have an HD channel that's called Kung Fu HD. All it shows are Asian martial arts stuff, and samurai stuff. Lots of Zatoichi. ^^;;

For kung fu stuff, I like just about any and all of the Shaw Brothers joints. 5 Deadly Venoms, Invincible Pole Fighter (crazy Gordon Liu movie from back in the day), Chinese Super Ninjas (yeah, title makes no sense), Kid with the Golden Arm. Quality.

I like Once upon a time in China, pretty good ones that Jet Li made then some older J-Chan's movies. Twin Dragon, Operation Condor, City Hunter..Oh man, City Hunter was a great one that J-chan starred in.

Chow Yun Fat's Hard Boiled, least to say it has to be the top on my list.

I really liked Shoalin Soccer, oh and the first and second "Once Upon a Time in China" were great too.

There's also a film called SPL (Sha Po Lang), staring Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung, which is alright. It's more of a cop film but it's got a few good fight scenes in it. I hear it's also known as Killzone in the US.

My favorite martial art movies: Fist of Fury,(The Chinese Connection for those who don't know) King Boxer(The first kung-fu movie to come to america), The Drunken Master(The first one not the Legend of the Drunken master, just so yous not get confused), Deadly Strike,(some old Bruce lee wanna be, but still pretty damn cool) Versus,(This movie has mad-crazy action, I's likes it) Black Mask,(That one is just one of my favorite Jet Li movies).

Thats all I can think of now.

I'd have to go with "Versus". "Longinus" was fun, too, but pretty short, so call that one 'half a recommendation' if you will.

I'm not sure if the 'Asian/Martial Arts Films' means martial arts films with a focus on ones that are Asian, or Asian films AS WELL AS martial arts films. I'm going to go ahead and assume it's the latter, and recommend as well the non-martial-arts movie "Ping Pong".
