Well, it really depends on what type of girl she is. People aren't defined by just their genders. Is she into cute, feminine things? Or is she a tomboy or Kotona-level otaku?

She is cute, small similar like konata but she act similar Nagato Yuki
last time i gave her a big doll but she don't like it she said i am not a girl :(

lol well just dont give her something too extravagant since it seems you dont know her too much. she might just think you're desperate. simplicity always works. (within the boundaries of common sense) something simple yet meaningful to your relationship. but not as simple as a gift card which shouts out "all purpose gift"

well as im not a chick i really dunno :P

but a few idea's i know freinds have done are

perfume (something she really liked)
a romantic dinner and rose's and then a diamond (because thats her birth stone or something)
takeing her out for a good time (movie shopping etc)
cloths

really all i can think of now... but really anything sincere to her most likely she'll like...

buy a stuff toy, make sure you pick the right size, huggable but not too big.. and the color is important too.. also don't buy a stuff toy with something that makes noise like bells or something, she wont hug it to sleep... well, giving stuff toy to a girl always works.(for me anyway)

tho its a good point sometimes to show someone your thinking of them its a good way to "show" some effection..

sure i didnt have to buy the girl i hang out with all the time fruit baskets the complete box set :D but i did to show i cared and was a xmas gift and ive always done it for xmas :P

i think that you should get the girl something that symbolizes the relationship that you guys have it doesnt have to be expensive but it has to be thoughtful and not just bought because its that first thing you saw
