RE 4 is in my opinion the greatest game of all time. I hated myself after buying a gamecube because there were NO good games for it. RE 4 made it worth having.

I love the RE series, though I wasn't much a fan of 3.

My favorite story wise has to be RE1. The GC remake of it was amazing.

However, the most fun one to play is, hands down, RE4. The system is perfect for the kind of game it's supposed to be.

but the best atmosphere of the game is the number 1, I guess....I'll never forget that cursed mansion.

LOL, He isn't, Once it's released for the ps3 he's done and gone, Konami will be releasing the 360 version :) And No we did not steal a damn game, The game companys just want to make more money, look at the xbox 360's in the us, and then the ps3's in the us. Now if you made video games, Wouldn't you rather have 12 million people to sell your game to? or 2?

I oni played RE 4 on PS2....i like it alot. I played the game over again n again..at the 1 time i uses few week to play the whole game. After then...i juz uses 1 day to finish the whole game....lol

All the resident evil is good but the nemesis in re3 is quite hard to kill because you need to dodge his tentacles.

RE 1 is my favorite as it was the original and is sweet, but then the revolutionary RE 4 is sweet aswell as it changed RE series for ever.

By the way RE 5 is probably coming out for Xbox 360

RE4 for the PC supposably lags it up so much.

Also Dark_Clown, Silent hill is good aswell, and is a good game when you want to be scared as shit. Well scared when you play in a cold creepy basement with surround sound and the lights turned off.

Now thats creepy, but I still need to play SH 1 and 2 as I have only played 3 and 4, that bloody bunny creeps me out when ever I see it.

Well I'll tell you the truth RE4 is the least scary one of the series in my oppnion.

So suck in your gut and go out and rent it, but dont get it for PC because my friend says it will lag your computer up so much.

RE3 is one of my favorites because you could play as Jill (who's totally hot...) But the installment that I really like is RE2: two characters and 4 scenarios, total replay value.
But overall I really like all the Resident Evil games, except for the one's you need to play online.

not so much that it sucked, it was an extreme pain in the ass to figure out what worked and what didn't, especially with their 'new' save system. Bad Memories.

well, i think that RE4 would be greater if it wasnt RE... capcom changed almost everything that made me feel like "whoa, this is RE!". in RE4 we have no zombies, no puzzles, PLENTY of ammo... that's fun, of course, but nothing compared to RE1 and those ¨%$$!$#% puzzles and no magazine for beretta XD

I have loved this series since it started.

I LOVED RE4 the controls were prefect even though game was REALLY lacking on the story end.

Can't wait for RE5 though one of the reasons I got a PS3

Been a fan of the Resi series since the first one on the Playstation. My favourite game in the series is probably the second, mainly because of the different scenarios with Claire and Leon.

I don't have Resi 2 anymore since someone decided to nick of with my bag after my mate gave it back. T_T
