Tape is actually good to hold a wound until you can get it stitched (I'm fairly sure, I may be horribly wrong though >_>)
But yeah, if your dog is injured, you should bring it to the vet.

hope your dog gets better ^^
well my mom cant go she broke her ankle and cant drive
We do all have two feet ya know :P Yea tape is good for holding a wound but I would suggest medical tape (what you normally use to hold bandages together or when you get stiches how they tape it sometimes) cause duck tape might have some bad chemicals in it...

I would recommend never using duct tape. Use a cloth to wrap the wound and keep pressure on it until it can be treated by a professional.

Duct tape is a lil bad for the dog, lol. I would hate to see the dog's reaction when taking it off, lol.
put some Gauze on the wound, and take some wrapping material *not tape* and wrap that round the gauze to hold it in place, The Gauze is a natural absorbent, so it shouldn't harm the dog.
If u can't take it to the vet, either call them for pickup to vet, or talk to a neighbor for a ride to the vet. A neighbor or near by friend that drives would be best, because of the face, no1 wants to see an animal suffer.

Putting duct tape on the wound looks great O.o
I suggest you put gauze on the wound, just like what ElderKain said. And after that, you put duct tape, not stapler or clip lol.

Well...they DO say that duck tape fixes everything. :P Still, that might hurt worse than the cut when it's taken off!

It seems like it would help.... I think >_>
I'd do the same thing and then bring it to a vet as thats the best thing to do
I wouldn't want to be the one whos gotta take it off, *ouch*

...==''
That's something I'd never think of. Can't think of anyone who'd do that. But as long as the dog is alrite, it's cool.

Well...I actually did something like that once...
I was 10 and a doverman carved a whole in my doggy dog's flesh...so I ducktaped it...
Of course, I threw stones to that freaking doverman until he started fearing my stoning techique much more that I feared his man-eating jaws...

if my dog got a cut i would bring it to the vet immediately because it might die from losing too much blood i dont think anyone would duck tape it its just not right to do that to a dog

I would say bring it to the vet, but for me I would not do anything since I really hate dogs.
