MMORPG's have a huge persistant world. Diablo II does not.
I'm currently playing Lineage II after hitting level 70 in WoW and getting bored of raiding.

Private servers also always suck. (When I say always, I mean, 99%. Suuuure, there might be a rare good free MMORPG or private server, but not worth the time looking for one)

i once tried WoW on a private server... it crashed all the time and had constant dc's... so that proves your theory of the major suckage of private servers XD
denkikoiji
07-18-2007, 12:31 AM
well it just depends on the private server all the ones i used where from ragezone lol i would say the best place to play wow prvate server is from frienz server

I used to play WoW alot, I was actually one of the first players ever to play the game, but now the game is full of losers with no life and there no point.
Plus the makers are really lazy now

oh, I probably quit before you played... and then joined again and quit then I did that once more again >.> I have no self control.
Its a good game but it can still be addicting, especially if you have a addictie personallity then it may kill you like it did to some of the korean kids (No offence to them in any way)
Also I would play normal wow, as to many noobs think there cool with there epics and twinks with epics, it is them who are the twinks. If I played I would play the free server as I would not need to play.
Also WoW is a good game, and I might work for blizzard in the lore department as I've played all wacraft games, and they have forgotten jack shit about what really happens in the world of azeroth.
So for now, I'm sticking to my old school warcraft 2 and 3, I need warcraft 1 back

Hacked WoW is a classic, you get to level 5 in less than 3 seconds xD although its still a pain to download the patches, so ill stick with Guild Wars. There will always be a fued between WoWians and Guildians. ;P
I play wow but the only thing I do now is occational guild raids, PvP ( most of time on), and/or talk to my friends. I guess the only thing that keeps it exciting for me now is that season 3 arena gear is on its way in december and collecting points is good cuase S3 gear is a restat of tier 6. I just want to have the big Warlock wings. Plus my priest friend wants that gear for that class. its badass looking mainly cuase of sholders being 2 blindfolded pale faces wraped in chains.
but hey...Horde, thunderlord, lv 70 warlock. Names Pyric. Look me up and well idk just say hi if on my server. I am an alchemist if u need one (375 lv)

Used to play ffxi11, but it suffers from the flaws of most mmorpgs (rmt, not enough people to do anything fun), and most importantly, I finally realized that I would never get the cool shit that I wanted. So, there you go. :P

Personally I've not put much time into MMORPGs at all. I just get discouraged by the idea of trying to find worthwhile people to play with online. I've had too many experiences where I meet people I can't trust, and there is also little point in playing MMORPG type games alone.
mmorpg's are fun and good to kill time but thier all the same after a while and to much could make you addicted............not like i am..........
